Sensio Vista is already a favourite tool among care teams in the UK, Norway and Sweden – especially for those working night shifts. Read why.

Vista romoversikt-2Sensio Vista (pictured) is a web portal that collects active alarms and sensor data in real time and presents it on a large screen such as a TV, PC or tablet. The solution complements Sensio Pocket, which is a mobile workspace for care teams. Vista retrieves information from the RoomMate multi-sensor, and the large screen gives care teams a better visual overview, making digital supervisions easier and more efficient.

The purpose of Vista is to make the working day more efficient for care teams and at the same time improve the quality of care for residents.

Mathias Lervold mindreMathias Lervold (pictured), Product Manager for Sensio Vista, explains that the solution was specifically designed with night shifts in mind, and customer feedback highlights its particular effectiveness during these hours.

– They tell us that Vista gives «superpowers» to the night shift because it is user-friendly and provides a faster and clearer overview of the residents.

5 benefits of Sensio Vista

Sensio Vista has many benefits for residents, care teams and relatives.

  1. Full real time overview of residents.

Vista provides a real-time status of each resident’s room, meaning that active alarms, operational messages and team presence in a room are displayed on the screen as they happen – and prioritised in a predefined order. Care teams can also see a resident’s activity, when there are no alarms or care teams present. This room-based view is user-friendly and provides an effective resident overview.

  1. Digital supervision on a big screen.

A digital supervision in Vista involves either care teams initiating a video transmission (anonymous or detailed) at scheduled times or upon an alarm event to supervise the resident. In Vista, the supervision is displayed on a single screen on a PC or tablet, and the solution is designed to make the scheduled supervisions precise and efficient with just a few clicks.

Ronny Andresen - DIH_redigert_mindre– The biggest advantage of Vista is that everything goes much faster and is more efficient. I don't have to take out my mobile phone every time I get notification, because we quickly get an overview of the alarms on the big screen, says Ronny Andresen (pictured), care worker and night shift at Dronning Ingrids hage in Oslo, Norway.

  1. Faster and more efficient response.

By bringing all alerts and alarms together on one platform, response times are significantly reduced. Vista instantly shows what is happening and where, so the right action can be taken quickly – which is crucial in critical situations. Faster and more efficient responses free’s up time for care teams to be able to prioritise and deliver truly person-centred care.

Leah Mort_Foxhunters– With Vista on the big screens, we have immediate insight into where we need to focus our attention, so that care teams can respond quickly and effectively when our residents need assistance, explains Leah Mort (pictured), Home Director at Foxhunters Care Community in South Wales.

  1. Increased safety and security.

Having a full overview of all resident rooms in real time and being able to do faster and more efficient digital supervisions has contributed to increased safety and security for both employees, residents and relatives. This is confirmed by Ronny Andresen at Dronning Ingrids hage.

– This technology contributes to increased safety and security and enables healthcare support that was not possible before, he says.

  1. User-friendly and ready for the future.

Sensio Vista is designed with an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows employees to familiarise themselves with the platform quickly. By future proofing the solution, we are continuously working to develop the care technology and integrate new tools to provide even better support for care teams.
