Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

This statement covers the financial year 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. Sensio Group has a zero‑tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to conducting our business in an ethical and lawful manner and to reducing the risk of modern slavery in our own operations and in our supply chains.

Our Business

Sensio operates within the care technology sector, providing solutions that support safer and more efficient care delivery. Our supply chain mainly consists of:

  • Electronic components and hardware

  • Software, cloud and IT services

  • Professional and technical services

  • Other goods and services that support our operations.

We recognise that some types of goods and services, or parts of extended supply chains, may present higher inherent risks than others. In these areas of greatest risk, we are committed to conducting due diligence to assess the measures our suppliers are implementing to mitigate modern slavery risks within their operations before we enter into a contract with them.

Our Approach and Policies

Sensio manages supplier-related risks, including risks relevant to modern slavery and human trafficking, through existing governance and quality management processes, including:

  • A Code of Conduct outlining our expectations for lawful and ethical behaviour, including respect for human rights.

  • Supplier expectations requiring compliance with applicable labour, human rights and ethical standards, laws and regulations.

  • A supplier performance and evaluation procedure, which sets out how we assess and follow up suppliers of goods and services used in the production and delivery of Sensio's products.

  • Whistleblowing and reporting channels for confidential reporting of concerns.

Supply Chain Due Diligence

We apply a proportionate approach to supplier due diligence and follow-up. This may include:

  • Collecting information on new suppliers and the products they provide.

  • Using supplier questionnaires and declarations, including adherence to Sensio's Code of Conduct and selected HSE and quality topics.

  • Reviewing available information such as certifications and responses to questionnaires.

  • Periodic evaluation of key suppliers and any follow-up considered appropriate.

  • Engaging with suppliers if concerns arise.

Where concerns are identified through our existing processes, Sensio may request additional information, hold meetings with the supplier or, if necessary, consider changing or ending the relationship.

Sensio monitors the effectiveness of these controls through periodic supplier evaluations and internal review of any concerns raised in relation to suppliers.

Training and Awareness

All employees are required to read and acknowledge Sensio's Code of Conduct as part of their onboarding. The Code includes information on ethical behaviour, respect for human rights, and expectations relevant to modern slavery and human trafficking, as well as guidance on raising concerns. All employees are encouraged to raise concerns if they become aware of issues that could relate to modern slavery, human trafficking or other serious misconduct.
